Maj Gen Anuj Mathur, VSM(Retd), an alumnus of the National Defence Academy Khadawasla, superannuated in October 2018 having done approximately four decades of glorious service to the nation. The General Officer has held variety of sensitive and important instructional, staff and command appointments in all types of terrains and operational environments, from glaciated areas to our island territories. He commanded his unit in the Kashmir Valley during Operation Parakram with elan. He also commanded a Brigade, Regimental Training Centre, a Sub-Area and an Area. He is actively involved in spreading awareness concerning, Geo-Politics, National Security, Kashmir and China issue through variety of means. He is heading six philanthropic organisations and is spending most of his time in social service. He is a recipient of Prestigious National Level *Atal Shaurya Shikhar Samman.*
