Drishyamuni Chakma is serving his second term as the President of the Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students' Union, first elected to the post in 2018. He is also the Vice President of the All India Chakma Students' Union - the apex students' body of the Chakma community residing in India. Also an active member of Bhartiya Janata Party , Mr. Chakma was the Executive member of the BJYM's college outreach committee from 2017-18, and has participated in campaigning and promoting the BJP in Delhi. Apart from raising voice of the chakmas residing in India and advocating for the rights of tribals, he has also taken up the cause of sustainable development; furthermore, he has actively initiated and participated in drives to increase voters' awareness, initiated various steps to fight against drugs menace and Child labour & Child trafficking particularly in his home state Arunachal Pradesh. Holding a Master degree in Political Science and PGDBA (Sales & Marketing) from SCDL, pune. Mr. Chakma is currently pursuing his LLB from Guwahati University. Professionally he is working as a General Manager (Operation) in one of the Pharma company.

Prof.Parimal Ch Bhattacharjee, is the former Professor and head,
Department of Zoology, Gauhati University, Assam. He graduated
from St Edmund's college and completed Masters and Ph.D from
Gauhati University. With a long PG teaching and research of 40 years
established the Pg course of Animal Ecology and Wildlife - in Gauhati
University, which was first in North east India. He has completed 25
research projects on primates, endangered birds, wetland and
grassland ecology. He has guided 30 Ph.D scholars from Gauhati
University and also other Universities of India.
He is the member of IUCN- Primate SSC, State Wildlife Board,
Biodiversity Board, wetland authority of Assam. He was also a
member of National Biodiversity Authority (NBA). He was visitor's
Nominee in different Universities of India. He was also consultant in
Biodiversity and wildlife sector of infra structure development
project funded by World Bank(WB) and Asian Development Bank
(ADB). He was awarded life time achievements award from the
Government of Assam for his contribution in Biodiversity and
wildlife conservation. He was also the Trustee and Vice chairman of
Wildlife Trust of India (WTI), now emeritus Trustee of WTI.
