I have done my M.Sc., M.Phil., in Botany from.RKM Vivekananda College, Chennai followed by a Ph.D. from CAS in Botany from University of Madras, Guindy Campus, Chennai. After my post doctoral studies in NIO, Goa and Hong Kong University, I was in industry briefly and in an NGO based research organization as a Senior Scientist. I have joined as a faculty member in the department of Biotechnology, Pondicherry University in 2009 and I am now working as a Professor in the same department.
