Born in Bihar who after 12th joined the IAF as an Airman, continued his studies, did his graduation, cleared CDS and became an Officer in the Army.
Of the many duties in the Army, was also his intense counter-terrorism battles in Kashmir, that also earned him ‘Sena Medal’ gallantry for killing six terrorists and a gunshot wound too when a bullet tore through his face, jaw & neck. His being alive is a miracle.
In his new life he began to express himself through his pen and voice, stories of the courage and sacrifice through poems, documentaries, live talks and light and sound shows. He also gives live commentaries at various solemn occasions and also on Doordarshan that include Army Day Parades and the inauguration of the National War Memorial.
He applied for pre mature retirement from the Army and by the time he was released he had done an acting course from Anupam Kher's 'Actor Prepares' and a voice coaching course and begun to learn to write movie scripts.
The Gillette ad based on his life and featuring him was hugely successful the world over. It got shortlisted at Cannes.
His talks & videos are not only inspirational but thought provoking as well. His conversation with a terrorist is one such video.
When the country went into CORONA lockdown he voluntarily joined one of the biggest COVID Hospitals in the country.
He also featured in many COVID awareness videos that was liked by many including the Govt. His awareness video on 'safe banking' brought out by ICICI Bank too was a success.
In his appearance on Zee TV's Swarn Swar Bharat he displayed his exceptional poetic skills that went viral.
He speaks at Tedx, corporate world, Schools, Colleges and other forums. He is a prominent speaker of the ‘Youth For Nation’.
He is inspiring and inculcating the spirit of patriotism, values and morals amongst all sections, specially the youth of the country.

Passed out Merchat Navy training from T S Rajendra and joined The Shipping Corporation of India as cadet. Subsequently got promoted as Fourth Officer, Third Officer, Second Officer, Chief Officer and finally got command as Captain of a Merchat Ship after passing out Certificates of Competency examination of each Rank. Then got absorbed in Shore Job of The SCI Ltd., Government of India Enterprise as Manager at HO Mumbai. Got promoted as Sr. Manager AGM, DGM and GM. I served in different Divisions of SCI, namely Bulk Carrier and Tanker Division, Offshore and Technical Services Division, Liner and Passenger Services Division. I was also posted in Port Blair from 2009 to 2012. After Superannuation from SCI in 2020, joined Indian Maritime University, Mumbai Port Campus, Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research as Faculty (Nautical Science) and presently teaching Post Sea Students of Merchant Navy. I want to spread Nationalism and Patriotism among Youth of this great Nation. I have sailed all over the world but never joined foreign Shipping Company although wages were very high there compared to our National Shipping Carrier, but I preferred to work for my country.
