Dr. S. Ram Mohan, IRAS, through the IAS examination in 1973. He retired as the Additional Member Finance in the Railway Board of the rank of Special Secretary to Government of India. Earlier, he was the Special Secretary, Govt. of India. Presently, he is the editor of ‘Ramanodayam’ and Co-Editor of ‘Mountain Path’. Also, he is the Co-Director of Sarasvati Research Centre, Chennai and Director of Centre for Study in Religion and Society.
He is a multi-faceted personality with six Post Graduate degrees to his credit covering various subjects like Sanskrit, Tamil and Economics and Strategic Studies, Spanish,Philosphy and an MBA, degrees in Mathematics and Law. He is also a Ph.D. in Defence and Strategic Studies. He was awarded 'Best Performance' medal in the L.B.S. National Academy of Administration, Mussorrie,.the institution for Training of Officers selected through I.A.S. etc. Exam. He has been trained in Advanced Computer Systems in USA and Sweden.
In the year 2003, he was chosen for the prestigious award of Fellowship of Computer Society of India,He has also won International Honour when he was awarded the 'PRACHYA VIDYA PARANGATA' (Expert in Eastern Wisdom) Award at Houston University USA by the WAVES organisation - an organisation of distinguished Academicians and Intellectuals from several countries. And Saraswathi Puraskar from Itihas Samiti in 2012.
He has also been an eminent speaker on various subjects in various forums. He was invited by the Government of Sri Lanka to speak at the International Conference on Buddhism.. He had invited to speak in many Universities abroad like Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia,Trindad,U.S.A., etc. He was also the speaker chosen by the Government of India to represent India in the WAVES conference on the ‘Intellectual Traditions of the world’ at Washington. He was invited at the World Congress of Religions.
He is the editor of two cultural and philosophical journals in English 'The Mountain Path' and in Tamil 'Ramanodayam' brought out by Sri Ramanasramam.. He is contributor to the 100 volume Encyclopedia brought out by the Organisation under Ministry of Human Resurce Developpment,Govt of India, in the area of Indian Philosophy especially 'Saiva Siddhanta' and 'Synthesis of Yoga'. He has been an invited speaker on subjects like Management, Philosophy, Self-Development etc. In several forums&Universities in India and abroad.He has also co-organised the 'Awakening Indians to India' Quiz in which 3 lakhs students participated, which has been entered in the Guinness Book of He is ,at present,the academic Co-Ordinator nominated by ICCR for Swami Vivekananda 150th anniversary programs,to be held in Melburne,Australia for Asian and Australian regions and editor of the volume on Swami vivekananda.

I have completed M. Sc. Mathematics from Ramanuj an Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, University of Madras, M. E CSE from Sathyabama,and Ph. D from Anna University with specialisation Information Security using ML algorithms.. I have worked as professor in various Dept. Like CSE.,ECE and currently working as professor and Hod in IT Dept. at MNM Jain Engineering College Chennai. I am a motivational speaker and currently creating awareness on Artificial Intelligence and ML for for school and college students(Arts and Engineering) and motivation on Digital Marketing and Innovation for Entrepreneurs. & MCRC Rural Technology Initiative (MRTI) at Shri AMM Murugappa Chettiar Research Centre (MCRC),
Taramani, Chennai and Coordinator, Technology Business Incubator at Sathyabama University,
Sholinganallur, Chennai. He also serves as Honorary Secretary of Indigenous and Frontier Technology
Research Centre (IFTR), Chennai 600061 promoting appropriate technologies for rural areas, and Chair,
Strategic Committee at Bharathiya Yuva Shakti Trust, CII, Chennai promoting entrepreneurship at grass
root levels.
He is one of the Regional Mentors of Change for Atal Tinkering Labs in schools supported by Atal
Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India in Tamilnadu. He is also the Co-Founder of
Theevanam Additives and Nutraceuts Pvt Ltd., Biotech Research Park, IIT Madras, Chennai, E2E Biotech,
Bangalore Bio innovation Centre, Bangalore and Moxieelan Advisory Services, Chennai.
Prior to this, Seshadri was Principal Scientist & Director at Shri AMM Murugappa Chettiar Research
Centre (MCRC), Taramani, Chennai. Before MCRC, Seshadri was serving as Scientist at Entomology
Research Institute, Loyola College, Chennai, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Sri
Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education, Chennai and Microbiologist at Cauvery Sugars and Chemicals
Limited, Pettavyathalai.
A Botanist with 30 years of experience in teaching, research, development, and extension he has
guided students for master’s and Doctoral Programs and has more than 80 publications. Acted as a
reviewer for various journals including Bioresource Technology, Bioprocess Technology, Current Science,
International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, International Journal of Integrative Biology, Journal of Basic
Microbiology, Philippine Agricultural Scientist, and Process Biochemistry.
He served as the Member of Board of Studies in Plant Biology and Biotechnology of various
Universities / Colleges and currently in the Board of Studies of Madras Christian College, Chennai and
Ethiraj College, Chennai; Life Member of Association of Microbiologists of India, Asian PGPR Society for
Sustainable Development, Treasurer of the Indian Biomass Association, Member of Muthayammal
Polytechnic Institution's Institution Innovation Council and General Body of Inba Seva Sangam, Sevapur
and Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary.
His areas of interest in research and development include appropriate technologies and
interventions for alternative livelihood income generation programs, microbial technology for sustainable
agriculture, microbial and plant biomass conversion, microalgae for human - food, feed, fertilizer, and
nutraceuticals, effluent treatment, carbon sequestration, water quality assessment and low-cost water
solution for rural areas, solar based interventions and micropropagation of medicinal plants.
He was part of the Asian PGPR Society team drafted the Policy Paper on Regulation of Plant
Growth Promoting Microorganisms submitted to ICAR during 2021.
Currently, he is mentoring individuals in science, technology and rural development programmes
helping farmers and rural youth for better livelihoods through organic / regenerative agricultural practices
and concentrating more on promoting and establishing collaborations in natural resource management,
microbial technology, ecological regenerative agriculture, sustainable food system, entrepreneurship for
development of interventions aimed towards rural areas.
